Mr. Bob

He said I wasn't annoying or pushy- just persistent. That's what he liked about me...persistence.  Maaaaaaan, you were alright with me.

A message from the Ausfelds:

"On the passing of Mr. Robert Ausfeld...We don't say goodbye to a man like Bob. There are too many stories and memories to share for the years to come that will keep his spirit alive. We want to thank everyone, family, friends, the broadcast community and all of the listeners that have been a part of our fathers life and that will continue his legacy.
With all our love, The Ausfeld Family- Forever Bob Strong"

A Message from the Morrell and Albany Broadcasting Family:

We are all blessed to have known and worked alongside Robert “Bob” Ausfeld.  He was a noble man full of compassion who touched the lives of countless people.

Bob’s epic resume in radio began 42 years ago  and could boast most call letters in the region.  He had unbelievable knowledge of every aspect of Radio-- a vast resource of events, ideas, history, contacts and more, but he always kept a level head. He lived life with such style and grace, possessing a charisma that everyone was naturally drawn to, it was as if he danced through all of lifecharming everyone he met along the way.  Always calm, cool, and collected—the “Bobfather” never flustered.

His door was always open and you could talk to him about anything.  He addressed things with honesty and integrity.  But, Bob really loved cracking witty jokes or throwing a quick wink and a sly grin to ease your nerves.  He could always make you smile-- truly a legend in his own time.
Thankfully the love and grace which Bob lived his life with have also been deeply instilled into his wonderful family.  His gifts live on in: Marion, Corey, Brian, Morgan, and his amazing grandchildren.  Those of us that were fortunate enough to have known him will also carry on his legacy and lessons throughout our lives.   For that the world will be eternally grateful.
"What we have once enjoyed and deeply loved we can never lose, for all that we love deeply becomes a part of us.” — Helen Keller

FLY92.3 and many others stations in the Capital Region will be pausing for a moment of silence Tuesday July 15th at 8am to remember Bob.

Forever Bob Strong

Shake it Wanda!

In 2003 I was a rump shaker behind Busta Rhymes. The music performances aren't on the DVD, but thanks to YouTube...I'm the SEXY Lady in red.

What I Know For Sure At 48

On March 2nd 1966 a whole lotta luv exploded onto the earth. Yes, its the day I was born. I never thought much about turning 48 when I was young and doing young folks thangs, and its not that I'm old - just a little wiser.  Some stuff you forget, but these are a few that I remembered and  know for sure.

You can follow me on Twitter to keep up - Miss WandaLuv #wikfsat48

Can you imagine how many there will be when I hit the ripe old age of 100? Ooooooowwwwww...^_~

#wikfsat48 - don't get your eyebrows waxed by people who don't speak your language. What up baldilocks.

#wikfsat48 - Side titty makes for a good cleavage booster. Embrace your side titty with pride

  • #wikfsat48 - When he says he'll call he will...he just won't call you

  • #wikfsat48 - I don't think that's baby hair at 48. That's more like thin on the verge of going bald. Stop the madness.

  • #wikfsat48 - Being engaged for 20 years means you're single. Saddown somewhere with ya used ass

    • #wikfsat48 - You think you're the only one but EVERYBODY can see your facial hair.

      • #wikfsat48 - Oral sex does nothing for oral hygiene. Don't fall for the weiner pleader.
      • #wikfsat48 - Sexting was created by a little fella.
      • #wikfsat48 - There has to be more to the Eve and the apple story. Ain't no way a Granny Smith caused all of this.
      • #wikfsat48 - I had relations with a black gorilla. That I know for sure.
      • #wikfsat48 - I've never owned a little black dress...they've always been plus size.

I Luv The Grammy's

Last night's Grammy Awards were the 1st show that I've been excited to watch in years. Don't really know why, though. Maybe music has taken a turn for the best or, hmmmm, maybe I just wanted to see the rumored Beyonce and JayZ sing Drunk in Love. And boy did they sang it. You may not like him or her but oooooooooweeeeeee....The fact that JayZ had a little bounce in his step and attempted to dance shows something good is going on there. We all want a love like that don't we ladies?
Initially I wanted to give the show a 10. It was jam packed with great performances and offered something for everybody. I'm going to stick with the 10 even though Queen Latifah scared this pretty brown shit out of me. WTF? If you missed the show, during the performance of Macklemore and Ryan Lewis' with Mary Lambert - girl next time cover up some more of that white meat - song Same Love she officiated the wedding of 30 people. At The Grammy's? Listen, I'm still confused by all of it. I get it, we all want equality, but its The Grammy Awards. Get in where you fit in but dayum. It was just a little bit extra. Like a bad butt injection - just WTF type of extra. Queen Latifah has always made me nervous. I think she watches porn on an etch a sketch while her girl is lying naked across her lap and flicks cigar ashes on her ass. When it came time for her to officiate her big ass busted through the doors on stage like a freed inmate running into a room full of reckless ass. She was just a bit too excited for me.
Madonna was even a part of the "ceremony." She walked on stage like a limp pimp crypt keeper...an old negro spiritual. Her voice was equivalent to someone in the midst of a stoke. The material girl has finally run out of fabric. Just sad.

It was nice to see Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr. They sang. No theatrics - just a nice performance the way it should be done most times. Pink swinging her nut cracking body all through the air. Katy Perry and the legion of doom. Next time just sing the song; we'll still like you - honest.

A few of my favs -
1. Stevie Wonder  is always a good thing.
2. Taylor Swift whipping her hair
3.Sara Bareilles excitement over singing with Carole King
4. Kris Kristofferson - A Star Is Born is still one of my favorites
5. Lorde won? Huh? I don't get it but its my favorite because she has inspired me to write a song. And I'll never get child suuuuuuupppppoooort....('-')

My best dressed of the night - Pharrell Williams. When you just don't give a damn enough to give a damn, you're alright with me.
There was much more to the show and in my opinion, it was very enjoyable. I didn't change the channel at all. If you want to keep up with my thoughts in real time follow me on Twitter - Miss WandaLuv You can also like me on FaceBook - Miss WandaLuv And don't forget my Website - Wanda D. Hudson

I luv you
